Board of Directors of the Association

Businessmen for Syria Association (BSA) is an independent, non-profit organization based in Syria, with branches in Syrian provinces and countries around the world. It is licensed by the Ministry of Economy of the Syrian government and joined the International Business Forum (IBF) in 2022. The association aims to contribute to empowering a sustainable Syrian economy and enhancing its members’ ability to invest optimally in Syria and the region.

Mr. Yamen Al-Shami

President of BSA

Entrepreneurship consultant, president of Businessmen for Syria Association (BSA), and general manager of The White Room Group. He has over 20 years of executive experience in establishing and developing companies in complex environments and has contributed to supporting the Syrian economy by empowering the private sector and training thousands of young people in entrepreneurship and institutional leadership.

Founder and owner of Al-Mottahida Trading Company (PFC field). Owner of a bioenergy plant. Served on the Shura Council representing industrialists and traders from 2021 to 2025.
